My big hobby as a teenager was penpalling. It got me through so much teenage angst. I remember waiting for those wonderful letters to drop throught the letterbox, so much joy and anticipation…but mostly hope. So thank you for your wonderful haiku. It brought back some good memories.

    1. I always thought it was cool to have a pen pal, letters have a tactile quality that I miss. It’s beautiful to have real connection, sweet to feel anticipation and the joy of surprise❤️
