Poem: Privilege Deferred

When you have societal privilege

but you live your life to thwart inequality

You’re living a life of privilege

in opposition to the privileged norm.

Labeling and judging every Caucasian

is wrong and part of the propaganda storm

of hatred and constant war division.

Shaming the Whites as a standard

is a reaction not a solution.

    1. Hi Syl, I agree with you. I don’t know how our world can become equal/just, maybe begin with the corruption at the top and keep going down the line. Thanks for sharing your thoughts🙂

      2. So true! I hope our world becomes what it should be, a beautiful place that’s home to all of us as a family.
