Poem: Why Animosity

The last waiting grandmas

Are ready to be foretold

No acknowledgement

Government denial

of government mandated

comfort slaves.

They say their government is innocent

Feel sorry for us sentiment

Hiroshima Karma ricochet

ends the inhuman torture

done by the Japanese soldiers.

How many repeatedly raped tortured

Korean girls preteen mostly

also Chinese and from the Philippines

like meat slaughtered

bones sucked on before thrown away

Ravenous dogs astray

by moonlight’s delirious howl

Demon’s hour devil pact

With Imperial Japan as Satan.

The memories won’t fade

without truth revealing

the slavery of these girls.

Acknowledgement starts the healing.
