Poem : kind of Funny, wait for it

(I loved singing too but you never listened…). Female singer in Thailand, https://unsplash.com/@bundo

For Steve the wicked, sexy cat, who broke my heart and more than that

This fork in the world

where you go left

and I go right

is where we finally part

and never meet again

in truth or sorrow.

Never dare to kiss or miss me

this dharma train moves only forward.

You’ve run out of time and forgiveness

there can only be so much broken

wolf crying over hurdles.

I gave you what I had

about ten thousand times

tired just thinking about how long

I held on to no love returned

address unknown forlorn

forgotten wife poverty stricken alone

it makes my scorned heart

dry parched with tears

that will not descend

not again or anymore for you

although you sing like a mourning angel

devils live in your head and bed

go to hell flaccido domingo.

I wanted to read the last word as “flamingo,” probably because of the word preceding it. Your writing always sends me to such different and amazing places. You have a wonderful style. 🙂

    1. That’s a cool idea! I’m not technically inclined but I think I’ll try to record a reading. Thanks for the compliment and idea❤️

  3. The last line is either: flaccido flamingo, flaccido flamenco, or flaccido domingo (the original line) 😀
