Poem: Venomous Ruin: a poem in negative echoes

I can forgive because I see the traces

how everything leads back to itself.

Who is to blame

but all of us

in non action.

Old way evil,

silent samurai

machismo zen stoic,

unfeeling occupant,

I spot light on you

because you’re the nearest

echo of distilled evil

that loves in proud arrayed

display of hate

in nationalistic Bold.

Hyper machismo

I don’t need to disclose

the horrific echo

that even today

in modern day brothels

where children are caught

and brought like fishes

in unending non consent.

Rape torture

they survive torment

after torment

like Prometheus:

Pro is for

Me is core

The is an identifier,

Us is Us.

Pro Me the Us,

They’re haunting we, oui, yes,

we forget

I only remind the ghost because

of martyrdom.

They are the scapegoats

of decadent ruin.

Heroes sometimes

get sacrificed by mean

undeserving of life

ghosts inhabiting fools

of incremental excrement.

people need to cry

shout out, hate fate

Life is cruel and kindness

is carried through by karma

I suppose

and justice is slow and blind.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts… 🙂

“Holding on to bitterness is like taking poison and expecting the other person to die”…

    1. Dutchil, I do hold on to bitterness but I don’t expect the other to die though. I think death is too easy a punishment for evil doers. Living is what’s hard in my opinion. This poem was inspired by all the sex slaves that were called comfort women, many were children who were repeatedly raped. The Japanese government still denies what they sanctioned. I write for the silenced voices of innocent girls.

  4. The circle of life ? Pro me the us. Makes me think. Thank you, Judy.
